Animal Project

Your Animal Research Project will be due on May 10th.  You will present your information to your class on the following Monday and Tuesday.  You will need to turn in your notes for a grade, your project will be worth two grades, and you will receive a grade for you presentation to the class.  You may decide how you want to present your information.  You may create a PowerPoint presentation, create a model, create a poster, etc.  The only component that must be on your presentation is the information about your animal.  Anyone should be able to learn from your presentation.  It needs to be a learning tool.  You will find copies of the Animal Project Guide, and the Animal Project Rubric in the resources section of the class website.  You may also click on the link below to be directed to the resources section also.  If you have any questions, be sure to ask me for clarification.

Cells 'R Us

You have a new assignment over cells in MBC.  Use the information that we have discussed in class, and that you have learned while completing you cell model assignment to complete this assignment.   This assignment is due by Friday April 19, 2013.

·        You will create an animal cell and a plant cell using various materials. 

·        You will be expected to use creativity with this assignment on the materials that you are using. 

·        Both cells must be labeled or have a reference key attached to the assignment to show the different parts of the cell.

·        You may use the ScienceSaurus book at school and use the orange Science book and home to complete the assignment.

·        You can work on this at home and at school.

·        This assignment is due Tuesday April 16, 2013
